Integrated water level sensor into agricultural drone's ArduPilot and displayed data in QGroundControl.

Overview

At Robotix Japan, I integrated a water level sensor into an agricultural drone to monitor spray tank levels during flight.

What I Did

  • Sensor Integration: Connected water level sensor directly to ArduPilot flight controller
  • QGroundControl Display: Modified QGC to display water sensor data in real-time
  • MAVLink Communication: Configured sensor data transmission via MAVLink protocol
